2024/2025 District Governor Mandy Jo Lohrum

Mandy has been a Rotarian since 2015, when a local community leader invited her to join. Mandy served as President of the Greensburg Rotary Club in 2017-2018, as Assistant Governor for Area 6 from 2018-2023, as Paul Harris Society Coordinator for the District in 2021-2022, as well as House of Friendship Chair for the District Conference in 2022. She is a graduate of Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) and has assisted in facilitating continuing RLI classes. Mandy has attended four Rotary International Conventions, and loves to meet Rotarians from around the world and learn from them. Mandy is a Major Donor to The Rotary Foundation and a proud Paul Harris Society member. Mandy's husband and kids are also Paul Harris Fellows.

Outside of Rotary, Mandy is very active in her community, serving on the Greensburg/Decatur County Chamber of Commerce from 2017-2022, including serving two terms as President. Mandy has also served as Treasurer for the Arts and Culture Council of Decatur County since 2015. She joined the board of Girls Inc. of Shelbyville/Shelby County and has served since 2022. 

Mandy received her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Ball State University. Mandy is the Director of the Hospital Foundation of Decatur County, where they raise funds each year to support Decatur County Memorial Hospital. Mandy lives in Greensburg with her husband, Micah, where he owns and operates Lohrum Electrical.  They have two kids: Mackenzie (12), and Mason (8), and a shihpoo dog named Mimi.

Noah Jager Selected as Global Grant Scholar
Indiana’s three Rotary districts select Cadet Noah Jager as 2024-25 Rotary Global Grant Scholar and The Rotary Foundation has confirmed Noah Jager as the 2024-25 All-Indiana Rotary Global Scholar. Noah recently graduated from West Point Naval Academy. The three Indiana Rotary districts chose Noah over five other outstanding finalists following January 20 interviews. Noah, endorsed by Bloomington Sunrise Rotary, will use the $40,000 award to pursue a master’s degree in International Peace and Security from King’s College London. Noah’s area of focus: Peacebuilding and Conflict Prevention. After receiving his master’s degree, Noah will serve as an officer in the U.S. Army for a minimum of five years on active duty and three years in the reserves. In his first duty position, Noah will serve as a Military Intelligence Officer specializing in strategic intelligence. After serving in this role, he hopes to become a Foreign Area Officer (FAO), providing liaison with countries in an assigned region through policymaking, military cooperation, and community engagement. Later, Noah plans to return to Indiana where he will practice law and serve in the Indiana National Guard. Ultimately, he plans to address the needs of Hoosiers by serving in the U.S. Congress.
